Ingredients

  • 34 tbsp hot water
  • 1/2 cup strawberries (optional)
  • 2 tsp sugar (optional)
  • Ice
  • 1 cup milk of your choice (e.g., almond milk)
  • 3 strawberries (for topping)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 12 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Make the strawberry cold foam by blending the 3 strawberries, heavy cream, maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a small blender for 5-10 seconds until thickened but pourable. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the matcha powder and hot water until foamy.
  3. (Optional) In a glass, muddle the optional strawberries and sugar until broken down.
  4. Fill the glass with ice and add the milk. Top with the matcha mixture.
  5. Pour the strawberry cold foam on top, stir, and enjoy!
