  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, olive oil, hot sauce, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and place it in a roasting pan.
  4. Rub the honey mixture all over the chicken, making sure to get under the skin for maximum flavor.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the skin is golden and crispy.
  6. Let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve.

Notes

For a milder flavor, reduce hot sauce; for extra kick, add cayenne. Let the chicken rest to keep it juicy.
