Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups cabbage, chopped
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  4. Add the chopped cabbage, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
