- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups cabbage, chopped
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in the onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
- Add the chopped cabbage, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
Notes
For best flavor, use good quality beef broth. Chop the cabbage into bite-size pieces for even cooking.
