Description

A creamy, warm cheese dip that’s low in carbs and perfect for parties.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced green chiles
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the cream cheese and heavy cream. Stir until melted and smooth.
  2. Add the shredded Monterey Jack cheese and mix until fully melted.
  3. Stir in the diced green chiles, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the dip is creamy and heated through.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired. Serve warm with low-carb dippers.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for smoother melting. Grate Monterey Jack fresh for best texture. If too thick, add a splash more heavy cream.
