A quick and tasty Lemon-Caper Salmon Piccata that combines the brightness of lemon with rich salmon, topped with a creamy caper sauce.

- 2 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons capers, drained
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove salmon from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add capers and lemon juice, scraping the bottom for flavor.
- Stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer for a few minutes.
- Return the salmon to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley, paired with pasta or fresh greens.
Notes
Pat the salmon dry for better browning. Taste the sauce for seasoning and adjust with salt or lemon as needed.
