Description

A quick and tasty low-carb dish featuring cabbage, bacon, cream, ranch mix, and cheese, perfect as a side or light dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
  • 4 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
  2. Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet and cook in the bacon drippings for about 5-7 minutes, until tender.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream, ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the cheddar cheese and cooked bacon back to the skillet, stirring until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
  5. Serve warm as a low-carb dinner or side dish.

Notes

For extra richness, add more cream when reheating. Store in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge.
