Marry Me Chicken Pasta

A creamy and flavorful chicken pasta dish that is perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken pieces and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Italian seasoning, olive oil, and garlic before cooking. Feel free to add vegetables like spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, or mushrooms for more color and nutrition.
