Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped cilantro for garnish
- Avocado and lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and cook until softened.
- Stir in garlic and bell pepper, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
- Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, black beans, taco seasoning, and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with avocado and lime wedges.
Notes
Use lean ground turkey for a lower fat dish and adjust taco seasoning to taste.
