  • Food coloring (pink)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, almond extract, and pink food coloring.
  5. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture.
  6. Add milk to reach the desired dough consistency.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven until edges are golden.
  9. Let cool, then decorate with sprinkles or frosting if desired.

Notes

For a softer cookie, do not overbake; remove when edges are light golden. Use room temperature butter for easy creaming.
