Quick Christmas Peppermint Pie

A delightful dessert combining peppermint and chocolate, perfect for holiday celebrations.

  • 1 pre-made chocolate cookie crust
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 23 tablespoons crushed peppermint candies
  • Chocolate shavings or syrup for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar and peppermint extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped cream until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  4. Stir in the crushed peppermint candies.
  5. Pour the filling into the chocolate crust and spread evenly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes or until set.
  7. Garnish with chocolate shavings or syrup if desired before serving.

Notes

Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easy mixing. You can use a different type of crust, such as a graham cracker or Oreo crust.
