Description

A delicious and easy recipe to prepare Raising Cane’s famous chicken strips and creamy Cane’s sauce at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and paprika in a bowl.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan.
  4. Dredge chicken tenders in the flour mixture, then carefully place them in the hot oil.
  5. Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  6. Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl for the Cane’s Sauce. Mix well.
  7. Serve chicken strips hot with Cane’s Sauce on the side.

Notes

Pat the chicken dry before marinating for better breading. Do not crowd the pan when frying. For extra crisp, double dredge the tenders.
