Ingredients
Scale
- 12–14 ounces cooked salmon
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (chives, parsley, or dill)
- A squeeze of lemon juice
- Olive oil for pan-frying
- 1 head green cabbage, finely shredded
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2–3 tablespoons white distilled vinegar

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh herbs (chives, parsley, or dill)
- A drizzle of olive oil
Instructions
- Flake the cooked salmon apart with a fork.
- In a bowl, combine the salmon with eggs, breadcrumbs, salt, garlic powder, chopped fresh herbs, and lemon juice. Mix thoroughly until well combined. Form the mixture into 3 large or 4 medium-sized patties.

- In a large bowl, combine finely shredded cabbage, Greek yogurt, vinegar, salt, garlic powder, chopped herbs, and olive oil. Mix until well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve warm salmon burgers on a bed of creamy cabbage slaw. Optionally top with extra yogurt, olive oil, and fresh herbs.
Notes
Use canned salmon for a quicker option. Adjust the amount of vinegar in the slaw to your preference.
