Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (or your choice of meat)
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 3 finely chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic, honey, soy sauce, and green onions. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a lined baking tray.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. For the glaze, mix remaining honey and soy sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until blended. Drizzle over meatballs before serving.

Notes

Do not overmix the meat for tender meatballs. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
