Decadent layered bars with fudgy brownie, crunchy Oreo, and soft cookie dough.

- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 package refrigerated cookie dough
- Oreos or similar cookies
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; gradually stir into the creamed mixture until just blended.
- Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
- Layer Oreos evenly over the brownie layer, and then spread the cookie dough on top of the Oreos.
- Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter on top of the cookie dough.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes in the preheated oven, being careful not to overbake.
- Let cool before slicing into squares.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. Best topped with vanilla ice cream or chocolate sauce.
