Ingredients
Scale
- 250 g Gewürz-Speculoos biscuits
- 200 g peanut butter
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 5 g coconut oil
- Zest of one organic orange
- Coarse sea salt
Instructions
- Finely crush the Speculoos biscuits using a food processor or blender.
- Add the peanut butter and orange zest, mixing until a sandy, slightly oily dough forms.
- Take small amounts of the dough (about 10 g each) and roll them into balls.
- Chill the balls in the fridge for at least an hour to firm up.
- Once chilled, smooth the balls by rolling them again in your palms.
- Melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together in a water bath until smooth.
- Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and place on a cooling rack.
- Sprinkle with coarse sea salt and allow to dry completely, preferably overnight.
- Store in an airtight container in a cool place.
Notes
For variations, consider adding nuts or dried fruits. Using almond butter instead of peanut butter creates a different flavor profile.
