Description

Delicious Speculoos Balls combining crunchy biscuits, creamy peanut butter, and rich dark chocolate, perfect for sharing on special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 250 g Gewürz-Speculoos biscuits
  • 200 g peanut butter
  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 5 g coconut oil
  • Zest of one organic orange
  • Coarse sea salt

Instructions

  1. Finely crush the Speculoos biscuits using a food processor or blender.
  2. Add the peanut butter and orange zest, mixing until a sandy, slightly oily dough forms.
  3. Take small amounts of the dough (about 10 g each) and roll them into balls.
  4. Chill the balls in the fridge for at least an hour to firm up.
  5. Once chilled, smooth the balls by rolling them again in your palms.
  6. Melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together in a water bath until smooth.
  7. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and place on a cooling rack.
  8. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt and allow to dry completely, preferably overnight.
  9. Store in an airtight container in a cool place.

Notes

For variations, consider adding nuts or dried fruits. Using almond butter instead of peanut butter creates a different flavor profile.
