Description

A quick and spicy salmon dish with a bold sauce that is simple to prepare in one pan.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, garlic, sriracha, honey, and olive oil to create the marinade.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in the marinade and let them soak for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  4. Remove the salmon from the marinade, reserving the marinade for later.
  5. Season the salmon with salt and pepper, then sear each fillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  6. Add reserved marinade to the skillet and bring to a simmer for 2 minutes to thicken.
  7. Serve the salmon garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

Serve over rice, steamed vegetables, or with a green salad. For less heat, reduce the sriracha or try sweet chili sauce.
