Description
A refreshing drink that mixes sweet strawberries and bright matcha, perfect for warm days.
Ingredients

- ⅓ cup diced strawberries (approximately 3 to 4 strawberries)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tbsp maple syrup (or more to taste)
- 1½ tsp matcha
- ⅓ cup filtered water
- 1 handful ice cubes
Instructions
- In a food processor, puree the strawberries with the sugar. Set aside.
- Whisk together the milk and maple syrup. Set aside.
- Whisk the matcha with the filtered water until mixed well. Set aside.
- In a cup, add in a handful of ice cubes.
- Layer in the strawberry puree first, followed by the sweetened milk, and then finish with the matcha.
- Serve as a refreshing drink, optionally garnished with extra diced strawberries or a sprinkle of matcha.
Notes
For best flavor, use ripe strawberries. Whisk matcha well to avoid lumps.
