Description

Delicious smoked sausages wrapped in bacon with a sweet brown sugar crust, perfect for parties and snacks.


Ingredients

  • 12 smoked sausage links
  • 12 bacon strips
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut bacon strips in half and wrap each half around a smoked sausage link.
  3. Secure with a toothpick.
  4. Place wrapped smokies on a baking sheet.
  5. Sprinkle brown sugar and black pepper over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve warm as an appetizer.

Notes

Use thin bacon for even cooking and crispiness. Brush with extra brown sugar halfway through for a shinier glaze.
