- 12 smoked sausage links
- 12 bacon strips
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp black pepper
- Toothpicks
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut bacon strips in half and wrap each half around a smoked sausage link.
- Secure with a toothpick.
- Place wrapped smokies on a baking sheet.
- Sprinkle brown sugar and black pepper over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
- Remove from the oven and serve warm as an appetizer.
Notes
Use thin bacon for even cooking and crispiness. Brush with extra brown sugar halfway through for a shinier glaze.
