Description

A fast, spicy, and fun take on lasagna using dumpling wrappers and simple pantry ingredients, perfect for quick dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2025 dumpling wrappers
  • 4 tablespoons chili oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and lightly oil an 8×8 baking dish.
  2. Combine chili oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and chili flakes in a bowl to create the sauce.
  3. Spread a spoonful of sauce at the bottom of the dish to prevent sticking.
  4. Layer 4–5 dumpling wrappers, slightly overlapping, then spoon sauce over. Repeat for 4–5 layers, ending with sauce on top.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes to lightly crisp the top.
  7. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving hot.

Notes

For best texture, use fresh dumpling wrappers. Add extra chopped green onions or chili oil for more heat when serving.
