Description
A simple and delicious side dish featuring crispy garlic butter potatoes made in the air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds of baby potatoes
- 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Begin by washing the baby potatoes and cutting them in half.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the halved potatoes to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for about 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- Once they are golden and crispy, remove them from the air fryer.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
For extra crispiness, try soaking the potatoes in water for about 30 minutes before seasoning and cooking. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket; it’s better to cook in batches if necessary. Feel free to experiment with different herbs and spices.
