Instructions

  2. Step 2: Add Spice – Place the cinnamon sticks into the boiling water carefully to avoid splashing.
  3. Step 3: Simmer Liquid – Reduce the heat to low and let the cinnamon sticks simmer for 10 minutes until the water turns a warm amber color.

  5. Step 5: Strain – Use a fine-mesh strainer or tongs to remove the cinnamon sticks from the liquid.

Using Ceylon cinnamon (True Cinnamon) is recommended for daily consumption as it contains lower levels of coumarin compared to Cassia cinnamon.
