- 1 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 1/2 cup of fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- Start by boiling a large pot of salted water. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions.
- While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Toss in the cherry tomatoes and cook for another 5 minutes, letting them soften.
- Once the pasta is done, drain and add it to the skillet. Stir everything together, then add the fresh basil, salt, and pepper.
- Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
Notes
Use quality, fresh ingredients for the best flavor. For a little spice, add red pepper flakes when sautéing the garlic. Feel free to add sautéed vegetables or proteins like chicken or shrimp to make it a heartier dish.
