- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 lemons (one for juice, one sliced)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Place chicken breasts on a sheet pan and pour the marinade over them.
- Arrange lemon slices on top of the chicken.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Pound the chicken to even thickness for even cooking. Use fresh lemon juice for the best bright flavor.
