Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 lemons (one for juice, one sliced)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Place chicken breasts on a sheet pan and pour the marinade over them.
  4. Arrange lemon slices on top of the chicken.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Pound the chicken to even thickness for even cooking. Use fresh lemon juice for the best bright flavor.
