Ingredients

  • 1 cup lemon juice (fresh-squeezed only)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 4 cups water

Instructions

  1. Squeeze enough lemon juice for the recipe.
  2. Combine 3 cups of water and 3/4 cup of sugar in a saucepan.
  3. Heat on medium only until the sugar has melted, then let it cool.
  4. Add the lemon juice and 1 cup of water to a pitcher. Pour in the sugar water and mix.
  5. Let the mixture cool in the refrigerator until nice and cold.
  6. Serve with ice and slices of lemons.
