- 1–2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small jalapeño, minced (optional)
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
- Mash the avocados with a fork to your desired consistency.
- Add lime juice, onion, garlic, jalapeño (if using), tomato, and salt to the bowl.
- Mix everything together until well combined.
- Taste and adjust seasonings as necessary.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips.

Choose ripe avocados for the best flavor and texture. Adding lime juice helps preserve the color and prevents browning.
