  • 1/4 cup of melted butter or dairy-free butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten (optional for binding)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Begin by preparing your gluten-free bread. Cut it into small cubes and allow it to dry out overnight or toast it in the oven for a few minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, diced onion, diced celery, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together well.
  3. Pour the vegetable broth and melted butter over the bread mixture. If using eggs, add them here as well. Stir until the bread is evenly moistened.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased crock pot. Spread it out evenly.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 240-360 minutes or until the stuffing is hot and has absorbed flavors.
  6. Before serving, fluff the stuffing with a fork and sprinkle with fresh parsley for garnish.
