Description

Classic soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies filled with rich chocolate, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 12 oz milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a stand mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the corn syrup, egg, and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, beating well until dough forms.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop dough onto an ungreased baking sheet, 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes, until edges are set.
  8. Remove from oven and tap the baking sheet lightly on the counter to release any air. Allow to cool on the pan completely.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of cinnamon or a tablespoon of coffee grounds.
