Description

This Keto Crockpot Salisbury Steak is easy, low carb, and features tender patties cooked in a rich gravy using almond flour instead of bread crumbs.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, almond flour, chopped onion, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into oval patties.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the patties on both sides.
  4. Place the browned patties in the crockpot.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, then pour over the patties.
  6. Add mushrooms if using.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  8. Serve warm with your favorite sides.

Notes

For a richer taste, add a splash more Worcestershire sauce or a teaspoon of Dijon mustard.
