Ingredients

- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 cups water
- 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
- Ice
- Fresh lavender sprigs and lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Combine sugar, 1 cup of water, and dried lavender in a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
- Stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture steep for 15-20 minutes.
- Strain the lavender syrup through a fine mesh sieve to remove the flowers.
- Combine the lavender syrup, fresh lemon juice, and remaining 3 cups of water in a pitcher. Stir well.
- Serve over ice, garnished with fresh lavender sprigs and lemon slices if desired.
Notes
For a more intense lavender flavor, let the syrup steep longer before straining. Adjust sweetness by modifying the sugar to your taste.
