Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
  • Ice
  • Fresh lavender sprigs and lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, 1 cup of water, and dried lavender in a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
  2. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Remove from heat and let the mixture steep for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Strain the lavender syrup through a fine mesh sieve to remove the flowers.
  5. Combine the lavender syrup, fresh lemon juice, and remaining 3 cups of water in a pitcher. Stir well.
  6. Serve over ice, garnished with fresh lavender sprigs and lemon slices if desired.

Notes

For a more intense lavender flavor, let the syrup steep longer before straining. Adjust sweetness by modifying the sugar to your taste.
