A vibrant and fruity Cherry Limeade Slushie, perfect for hot days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (300g) fresh or frozen cherries, pitted
  • Juice of 2 large limes (about 1/4 cup or 60ml)
  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar or simple syrup
  • 1 cup (240ml) chilled sparkling water
  • 2 cups (about 300g) ice cubes
  • Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rinse and pit the cherries.
  2. Squeeze the limes for juice and strain out seeds.
  3. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan, heat, and cool.
  4. Add cherries, lime juice, simple syrup, and sparkling water to a blender.
  5. Blend on medium speed until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  6. Add ice cubes and pulse on high until slushie consistency, about 1 minute.
  7. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness if desired.
  8. Serve immediately in tall glasses with mint leaves or a lime wheel.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Store leftovers in the freezer for 1-2 days and blend to serve again.
