Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Form into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Add sliced onions and mushrooms to the same skillet and sauté until softened.
- Stir in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, bringing it to a simmer. Return the burger patties back to the skillet.
- Cover and cook for another 10 minutes, allowing the gravy to thicken.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice, garnished with chopped parsley.
