Description

A refreshing strawberry lemonade combining sweetness and tartness, perfect for hot days or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and fresh mint for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the sliced strawberries and half of the sugar in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Mix the fresh lemon juice and remaining sugar in a large pitcher. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Add the strawberry puree to the lemon mixture and mix well.
  4. Slowly stir in the cold water and adjust to taste.
  5. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and mint if desired.

Notes

Choose ripe strawberries for best flavor. Adjust sweetness as desired.
