Description

A game-changing recipe for juicy and flavorful chicken using an air fryer and flavored butter injection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1/2 cup compound herb butter (made with herbs, garlic, and butter)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the compound herb butter by mixing softened butter with minced garlic and your choice of herbs.
  2. Carefully inject the herb butter into the chicken, targeting the fat pockets.
  3. Season the outside of the chicken with salt and pepper.
  4. Preheat your air fryer following the manufacturer’s instructions.
  5. Place the chicken in the air fryer and cook according to the air fryer settings, usually around 25-30 minutes at 375°F (190°C), or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let the chicken rest before carving.
  7. Enjoy your incredibly succulent and crispy air-fried chicken!

Notes

Use a mix of herbs for the compound butter. If you don’t have a syringe, spoon the butter under the skin carefully.
